Biography

About
Ryan Kelaher serves as the World History level chair and teaches World History, United States History and Economics.  He is in his 5th year as head coach of the boy’s golf program.  The golf program is rich in history and he looks forward to helping his players grow into better players and prepare them for their futures.  In 2021 the Monarch’s captured the Trinity League Title and CIF Division 1 Championship. Since moving to California, he has coached both lacrosse and golf.  In 2017 he earned Sunset Coach of the Year. 

Mr. Kelaher was a former H.S. All American and played NCAA Division 1 lacrosse at both Loyola University Maryland and Hofstra University; Mr. Kelaher played for the Long Island Lizard in 2008.  He brings an extensive knowledge of education, college readiness and composure to the classroom and clubhouse. 

In his spare time Mr. Kelaher enjoys playing golf, skiing and traveling.
