We take pride in our rich tradition of excellence in the classroom and on the field that was started with the first Monarchs in 1950. In support of the school’s mission and philosophy, our student-athletes are empowered to become compassionate leaders on and off the field through our espoused principles of Honor, Glory, and Love. OUR PROGRAMS

Each team exemplifies the dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship that define Mater Dei Athletics. We offer 28 CIF sports over three seasons with multiple levels in each program and six club sports teams providing a comprehensive opportunity for student-athletes to compete and grow. 67% of our students participate in athletics through the following programs:

Our coaches, mentors, and support staff are dedicated to nurturing not only athletic prowess but also character development. Mater Dei athletes are not just competitors; they are scholars, leaders, and ambassadors of our tradition of HONOR, GLORY, and LOVE which define our school community.
