At Mater Dei, our Girls Soccer program is built on a foundation of tradition, excellence, and community that spans decades. As 14-time league champions and 5-time CIF-SS champions, the Monarchs have consistently demonstrated what it means to compete with heart and purpose.

Since 2001, under the leadership of Head Coach Matty West, our program has not only captured championships — including CIF titles in 2007, 2015, and 2025 — but also shaped generations of student-athletes who grow in character, leadership, and faith. Coach West, a longtime Monarch educator and mentor, is committed to empowering and inspiring young women to reach their full potential on the field and in life.

Joining Monarch Girls Soccer means becoming part of a legacy where teamwork, discipline, and personal growth come first — and where our program motto rings true: We Will.
