it's truly a great to be a monarch it's unbelievable when you think about 85 Heisman Trophy winners and we have three from the same High School with our loyal Sons John that and Bryce the 2021 Heisman Trophy award winner Bryce Young Craig you should be so incredibly proud of the humble caring and first-class young man your son Bryce has become I'm not sure there's a finer young man and that's what the Heisman Trophy is all about it I want to say he's still got probably one year left at Alabama so maybe he'll bring a fork back to Mater Dei don't pressure man no pressure braces highly intelligent rice is very humble Perry on behalf of the University of Alabama congratulations to Bryce and congratulations to Mater Dei at the Heisman Trophy ceremony rice was able to tell everyone with his family made him and I felt like this would be the best opportunity for me to tell him what he means to me family so I just want to thank you and let you know how proud I am of you riding on the bus heading for the State game and all of a sudden different noises a different five and then my head popped up and I'm trying to get the gist miles from the stadium in all of a sudden one of the players tap me on the shoulder and said price just won the Heisman Trophy and a smile came across my you know that I was able to have my high school experience here and be able to share with the people in the team Mason The Faculty members I did I mean so much to me why the further away I mentioned that the more I understand how special places is this means so much a lot more than a lot of people may know so thank you again for allowing me to have this moment and thank you everyone for being here
